The Problem
The farm ran two 3 hp borehole pumps off a diesel generator, burning through fuel during the dry season and losing an irrigation cycle every time the generator went down for service.
What We Built
An 8.4 kW ground-mounted array on our galvanised frames, feeding a 20 kWh LiFePO₄ bank at 48 V through a 10 kW hybrid inverter. Pump soft-starters were added so the inverter never sees an unmanaged inrush.
The Result
Diesel spend dropped to standby-only. The bank carries a full evening cycle, and remote telemetry lets the farm manager confirm state-of-charge before committing to a night run.
